HOW
DOES IT WORK?
On
first inspection, the system appears to be cutting
edge technology. However, the fundamental principles
regarding the electro magnetic characteristics of
the human body and the discovery that diseased tissue
is energetically different from healthy tissue, was
discovered in this country in the 1920”s. The
discovery that invading pathogens could be detected
by their unique electro magnetic characteristics dates
back to the 1930’s. Clinical application and
validation of biofeedback techniques to reduce stress,
lower heart rate and blood pressure (and many more
positive physiological effects) also date back to
the 1930’s.Of course, the earliest form of energetic
medicine (Acupuncture), which is based on the flow
of energy (QI) through the body, predates western
civilization by thousands of years.
Among the electrical properties that cells manifest
are the ability to conduct electricity, create electrical
fields and function as electrical generators and batteries.
In 1973 Dr. Fritz-Albert Popp (a Nobel Prize physicist),
constructed a device, which measured the electromagnetic
energy radiating from body cells. It showed that each
and every cell of the body processed a resonant frequency
and emitted (re-emitted also) electromagnetic waves.
For most of the last century biological science has
concentrated almost exclusively on explaining the
communication system of multi-cellular organisms with
vascular systems by focusing on circulatory chemical
signals carried by the bloodstream to other areas
of the body. Dr. Werner Heisenberg, whose uncertainty
principle shook the foundations of quantum physics,
tells us; “The opinion that living processes
can be explained only by the methods of physics and
chemistry and that there are no biological (quantum)
forces is not in congruence with quantum theory”.
In the body, electricity is carried by a number of
mobile charge carriers as well as electrons. Research
has shown us that both internally generated and externally
applied electromagnetic fields can affect cell functions.
Weak electric fields are naturally present in all
living organisms and apparently involved in pattern
formation and recognition. Regeneration is a healing
process where the body can replace damaged tissues.
Some of the most important biophysical factors implicated
in tissue repair and regeneration involve the natural
electrical properties of the body’s’ tissues
and cells such as cell membrane conductance potential
and protein semiconduction of electricity. The body
uses these fundamental bioelectric features to naturally
produce electrical currents that are involved in repair
and regeneration. Research also shows us that the
flow of electrical currents in the body is not a secondary
process but in fact, is an initiator and control system
used by the body to regulate healing in bone and other
tissues. When the biophysical properties of the tissues
are considered it makes sense to employ corrective
strategies that support the body’s’ biophysical
electrical processes to initiate the healing of injured,
diseased and degenerated tissues. Measures that enhance
or disturb the production of these natural electric
fields can impact the cell-signaling process. Energetic
medicine has advanced to the point where you can administer
frequencies that will act like the body’s natural
endogenous healing processes.
Just recently I noted in a health article (April 13,
2008) regarding "fluttering heart" conditions:
we now have an allopathic medical procedure to "
direct the catheters to the right parts of the heart
where radio frequency energy (thank you 1930's researchers!)
then kills the heart tissue causing the arrhythmia."
The
SCIO is both an electro dermal screening device and
a bio-feedback device, this means: The systems software
and computer technology can read the body‘s
energy systems, ( input) to the SCIO and, after testing
and analyzing ( processing) the input (over 9000 tests)
the practitioner can feedback (output) the recommended
electro-magnetic energetic impulses designed to correct
and re-harmonize the imbalances and aberrations detected
in the process phase.
This is the simple classic formula of input + process
= output
What
makes the SCIO unique and very powerful is the connection
that is made between the device and the client’s
sub-conscious (often referred to as the “super-conscious”
by SCIO Quantum Biofeedback practitioners), since
it is the sub-conscious mind that is aware of everything
that is going on within the body at that point in
time. Moreover, the sub-conscious has access to a
total history of both physical and emotional trauma
that is recorded in the body.
The SCIO process phase is based on decades of scientific
findings about the electro-magnetic characteristics
of the body. This science is used to identify those
functions which are outside normal ranges (either
stressed, or in the degeneration phase). A vast database
of corrective energetic remedies, specific to the
illness, allows the practitioner to select and apply
various therapeutic programs to correct and re-harmonize
the body. This will initialize or reinforce the body’s
own self -healing processes, utilizing biofeedback.
In principle, this technology is no different than
the currently wide spread (ncluding traditional western
medicine) application of electo-magnetic frequencies
to speed bone fracture repair as well as to disolve
kidney and gall stones.
Straps
will be attached to your ankles, wrists and forehead.
You will need to remove metal jewellery that may obstruct
the electrodes. Therapists will start the session
with a short questionnaire. A three-minute scan by
the SCIO follows (the scan is non-invasive so you
won’t feel a thing) Your electro-physical reactions
are displayed on a computer screen .. The SCIO analyses
specific items and or performs one of numerous therapies.
At the end of the session you will receive information
and advice on how to change your lifestyle and what
to do about certain problems the SCIO detects.
DOES
THE SCIO TREAT PROBLEMS?
The
subconscious mind reacts with subtle energetic changes
to the healthy frequency being sent from the SCIO
, causing the body to alter its own pulse and create
and energetic change. Eg; Imbalance to balance. Upon
completion of the test, the SCIO highlights imbalances
and recommends therapies and procedures to be implemented
during a stress-reduction and pain control session.
IS
IT SAFE?
Biofeedback
is considered a safe technique . It is non-invasive
and requires little effort. It does however, require
a trained and certified professional to control the
equipment and interpret the changes.
